Ketogenic Diet For Traumatic Brain Injuries

The Ketogenic Diet Has A Powerful Effect On The Brain

After a head injury, Nate suffered from seizures until he discovered the ketogenic diet. Listen to this powerful interview where Nate tells his story of how he finally, after years of taking medications, has been able to get off of all of his prescriptions drugs and is seizure free.

The original diet of choice that physicians would prescribe for seizures was a ketogenic diet--before anti-seizure medications came along and took over this recommended dietary intervention. Many of these same anti-seizure medications are used today to treat mental illness. Why doctors today do not recommend dietary changes is unfortunate for the many who are struggling and don't respond to the anti-seizure medications. Here is a remarkable story of how one young man was able to reverse his debilitating seizure disorder by changing his diet after struggling for most of his life.

Nate Klipfel is a natural bodybuilder, USPA Drug Tested Nevada State Record powerlifter, personal trainer, nutritionist, yoga instructor, and long-time skateboarder who tells the story of how he overcame a debilitating seizure disorder, depression, anxiety, addiction, mood disorder, and years of chronic pain until he discovered the ketogenic diet.

You can find Nate @fellowshipofthenate on Instagram, Tic Tok, and Facebook. Also, Lean Dog Fitness in Henderson, Nevada.

It took Andrew many months to discover the most important foods to avoid to prevent his seizures. He finally discovered that his brain responded remarkably well once he removed some specific foods from his diet...

When he added these foods back in--the seizures returned. If you struggle with seizures or brain trauma, you do not want to miss this incredible interview!
